Curi Bio partnered with Product Creation Studio to elevate the user interaction of their next-gen Mantarray™ platform and generate a new visual brand language that communicates Curi Bio’s advanced testing performance, precision, and ease of use.
Crafting the User Experience
Our primary design objective was to create a precise and effortless user experience when using the Mantarray instrument.
Scientists and lab technicians depend on highly reliable and accurate test results to do their work as they research and develop new drugs. Experiments are also costly to prepare and run, so mitigating handling or equipment interface errors is critical.
Our user research and design team interviewed and observed lab technicians and scientists to understand typical workflow challenges with handling and placing Curi Bio’s 24-well plate tray in their current hardware model of the device.
The data from our observations then allowed for interaction mockups that, when users tested them, revealed key features that enabled them to interact with the device more efficiently and with fewer errors.
